NEW FOR 2025
We’re hard at work reimagining and enhancing Northern Lights to bring you an even more magical experience this winter.
For 2025, every illumination will be brand new, so you can expect fresh surprises and breathtaking displays at every turn.
Last year was incredible, but we’re committed to making this year even better. Here’s how we’re improving your experience:

We understand that life can be unpredictable, and sometimes even the weather can throw a wrench in your plans. In the rare event of extreme weather conditions forcing event cancellations, we want to make sure you have a seamless, hassle-free process for managing your tickets.
In response to this, we are working closely with our ticketing provider to design a faster and more efficient exchange and refund system.
Our goal is to make sure that if plans change, you’ll be able to easily reschedule your visit or receive a full refund without unnecessary delays if we cancel the event. We want you to spend less time managing your ticket and more time planning your next adventure with us, knowing you have a straightforward and reliable solution in place.

Inclusivity is at the core of everything we do, and we’re committed to ensuring that our event is accessible to all visitors, regardless of their needs.
In 2025, we’re improving how we communicate and support guests with accessibility requirements, offering clearer, more detailed trail information, including maps, accessibility features, and tips for navigating the event. Additionally, we’re introducing a dedicated email address for accessibility inquiries, so that those who require additional assistance can reach out directly and receive personalised, timely support.
Whether it’s helping with specific mobility requirements, providing sensory-friendly options, or offering tailored guidance, our goal is to remove any barriers that might prevent someone from enjoying the full experience.
We’re dedicated to ensuring that everyone can attend the event with ease and confidence, making it a truly enjoyable experience for all.

Your comfort and enjoyment are at the heart of our planning, and we want you to have the space you need to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of the trail. To make sure everyone has room to relax and explore at their own pace, we are limiting ticket sales on peak weekends and high-traffic days. This strategic reduction in visitor numbers will help reduce congestion, ensuring that the trail remains peaceful and enjoyable for all.
By offering more room to wander, whether you want to linger at your favorite spot or take in the surroundings without feeling crowded, we’re enhancing your experience by making it feel less rushed and more magical. You’ll have the freedom to discover all that the event has to offer without the distractions of overcrowding.

✨ Clearer, More Helpful Signage – We’re enhancing signage across the site to make navigation easier and your experience smoother. Expect larger, well-lit signs, clearer directions to key areas like parking, facilities, and refreshment zones, and better wayfinding throughout the trail.
✨ Plenty of discounts and deals available – to make the event as accessible as we can, whilst still being able to make the trail as magical as we can, we will be offering plenty of discounts and deals in the run up to the event. Make sure you are on our mailing list to receive updates on these and save some pennies!
