EVRY

EVRY- A city united for babies, children and young people

Evry brings together partners in the city to create transformative change with babies, children, and young people. The Evry plan launched in July 2022 following a city-wide consultation, involving approximately 2,000 0-25 year olds across every ward in the city.

Newcastle City Council and partners representing transport, sports and leisure, entertainment and culture, parks and careers, pledged to make Newcastle a place where every baby, child and young person feels happy & healthy, safe and ready for their next steps.

Children and young people have told us they want more things to do, more places to go and more access to affordable activities. In response, partners responsible for major events in Newcastle have offered thousands of free tickets to children and young people across the city.

“In 2023, From the Fields offered free tickets to Northern Lights Newcastle in Leazes Park, a family friendly festive event located in the heart of the city. We worked with local schools, VCS organisations, and services to offer the tickets to young people and families who may have otherwise missed out. Families and young people who attended told us it was a magical experience, at what can be a challenging time of year.

“We look forward to working with From the Fields on Northern Lights Newcastle 2024, helping more children and families to experience this fantastic event.  “
