Based just around the corner from our event is Newcastle United Foundation, Newcastle United’s Charity. They support the local community, working with over 70,000 people each year, across Newcastle, Gateshead, Northumberland and North Tyneside.​

For 15 years they have helped local people take small steps to make big changes, using football to turn the ordinary into the extraordinary, to turn dreams into goals, on the pitch, in the classroom and in life.​

Newcastle United works across three key areas which aim to improve physical health, support mental wellbeing, and increase the chances of employability.​

In March 2022, Newcastle United Foundation opened the doors to its new home, NUCASTLE, which welcomed over 100,000 people through physical activity, classroom learning and events.
